The members area is dynamically driven and structured into a variety of sub-areas, many of which are organised around the 12 subject area working groups, Each of these has its own interactive workspace through which a growing series of databases and information resources can be accessed, searched and added to.

In addition a series of communication tools, including a web mail system with mailing lists, noticeboard, upload/download area and discussion forums are available to all Network Members. It is possible to bookmark your own choices of any collections of entries. This system for example allows the creation of your own tailor-made literature lists, which can be displayed in citation form and cut and pasted into other documents.
