The same basic information on the scope and context of teaching within the field of responsibility of each subject area working group, which will form the result of the first year data collection activities, will be made available to the nominated representatives of the appropriate external partner organisations. They will be asked to provide both a commentary on the treatment of the relevant subject area as it is dealt with by the schools forming the members of the working group, and to consult on this widely with the members of their organisations across Europe.
In addition, their views on the ideal scope and subject matter of teaching in the field on the basis of their experience of the needs of practice will be sought. These inputs will be requested in the form of both a written report, addressed to the Network, as well as through the involvement of a representative of the organisation in the process of discussion and reflection at the annual spring workshop.
