Overview of possible collaborative projects

Because of the fact that in the majority of countries only one or two landscape architecture courses exist, and in each school at most only one specialist is available to develop teaching and research in each subject area, the potential for cooperation at a European level to develop teaching material, joint courses or programmes as well as collaborative research projects will be investigated.
Within the context of the working groups a list of possible collaborative projects in teaching and research will be developed in outline, and where possible work will be started on implementing one or more of these projects. Such projects might include textbooks or other publications, web-based teaching modules, databases of teaching resources, including landscape projects, landscape planning case studies, landscape assessment techniques, collections of standard construction details and specification clauses etc.
